Tips and traps

I don't have any experience buying online. Can somjeon tell me what you should look for in an online pharmacy. I will have to pay for all of my meds for the second half of the year

You should make sure that the online pharmacy you decide to deal with at least has the Pharmacy Checker business seal on its site - Pharmacy Checker are an organisation that makes sure the products you receive have been shipped by a legitmate registered pharmacy. Before ordering from anyone give them a call and check out how they ensure customers get the quality of product they are looking for and what protection you have in terms of delivery guarantees and refund policies.

The only real issue when buying drugs online is the quality of the product you get!

If you use a credit card to pay for an order the financial risk is very low. If you don't receive the product, or if you receive a poor quality product, then you are able to refuse payment. Because online suppliers don't get a signature from customers all of the rights are with the card holder. Payment can be refused up to 3 months after the charge is made. There are forms that have to be filled so time is required.but you cannot get ripped off.

Product quality is another issue. If you are buying a brand name product it will be made by the same company that makes it in the US market. The quality is exactly the same. Big pharma companies do not make lower quality products to sell in lower priced markets. The only difference will be the packaging. In fact the biggest product in the world is Lipitor and every Lipitor tablet in the world is made in Ireland. So price differences are for reasons other than cost.

The quality of generic products is more difficult to assess. This is why it is so important to buy generics only from pharmacies that have some verifiable accreditation. Genuine Canadian pharmacies should CIPA accreditation and any other international pharmacy should have a Pharmacy Checker seal. Pharmacy Checker is an accreditation agency that verifies qualified pharmacists and registered pharmacies are supplying products.

I agree with the other posts. I've also found that within the Pharmacy Checker site, you can check to see that the comments previous customers have posted are positive. If they mostly are, then that gives me confidence that the site is OK. Also, I check the delivery information. Some of the better sites will have a 'delivery guarantee'. They say if the order ever goes missing and doesn't turn up, or you're not happy with the product that they'll return it, no questions asked. That sort of guarantee gives me more confidence that the site is reputable.

Thats true Kim,

But not always. What is the product you are going to be ordering? There are places that are better for some things than for others. And, is it something that you have a script for and are just trying to keep the cost down? Cuz- thats a whole diff ballgame.... If u can tell me what the product is- I may be able to lead ya toward a place that is dependable for that..... Or i'll try anyway
Bestest,
Luv
